Overview

The 2009 U.S. Payroll Year-End Update for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 is available for downloading.

1. If you use Extender, do not install the U.S. Payroll Year End Update.  If you use U.S. Payroll in addition to Extender and need the country code changes or the 1099-R Distribution code changes in this update, please contact Microsoft Technical Support to assist in installing the update.
2. If you use Web Services, the latest hotfix for Web Services must be installed prior to installing the 2009 U.S Payroll Year End Update. Click HERE to download the latest hotfix for Web Services.
3. If you use Olympic Project Cost, click HERE to download version PC1002.07. This release must be installed prior to installing 10.0 SP 4 or any later patch release including the Year End Update.

Year-End Update Changes

• Country Code changes
• 1099-R Distribution code changes
• No form changes (W-2, W-3, 1099-R)

Installation

1. It is recommended to have a working backup of the Dynamics database, all company databases and all modified reports and forms dictionaries.
2. Download and review the documentation PDF.
3. The Year-End download is inclusive of all previous hot fixes, service packs, and year-end downloads.

It is important to verify that your environment is compatible with the service pack(s), hotfix(es), or download(s) being installed. A service pack, hotfix, or download may cause interoperability issues with customizations, and third-party products that work with your Microsoft Dynamics solution.

Note: The Dynamics build version will be 10.00.1400.
